Wooden sculpture of Resting Jesus is beautifully handcrafted from massive wood, gold gilded and hand painted with oil paints. Available in Color or Natur (natural unpainted wood) version in various sizes. Made in Italy.

PLEASE NOTE

MATERIAL: All wood carvings up to size 24“(60cm) are by default carved from selected Mountain Maple Wood, statues of size 24 (60cm) or larger are carved from Linden wood (in latin: sacrum lingum), unless otherwise specified.

COLOUR: Due to a nature of our work and materials used, the shades of colours may slightly wary from the published images.

Production time: approx 1-4 weeks, depending on item and size.

This is a very finely detailed wood figurine. I loved that I could choose a size, since I needed it to fit in with a display of other figurines. I got the unpainted, natural option, and although the stock image doesn't show it, it does include the reed "scepter" in Jesus' hand. It was wrapped separately from the rest of the figure, so be careful not to lose it when you unbox it. The whole thing was carefully packaged and arrived in perfect condition. It looks great in my Holy Week display!

This is the 3rd religious statue I have bought from ChoralisArt because of the quality and beauty of their designs. Each statue I have purchased has been a miniature work of art. I buy these in the smallest size and they are about the size of a hair clip. They take a little longer in the shipping process because they come Eastern Europe but they are definitely worth the wait.
