In the inner margin of the pages there are cross-references to related Bible texts on the same or a similar topic. Translation text notes are listed below the biblical text. Cross-references as well as textual translation notes were developed specifically for the text of the Slovak Ecumenical Translation.

The Study Bible contains over 20,000 study notes that are footnoted below the Bible text. They provide background and context to the text of Scripture and also answer questions that may arise when reading the Bible.

The Study Bible is a complex work that is the result of several years of work by a whole team of translators, theologians, editors, proofreaders and graphic designers. The Porta Libri publishing house (PL) and the Slovak Bible Society (SBS) joined forces to make this project possible.

The study notes are from the English The NIV Study Bible (Zondervan, Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA 2011) and are the basis of the study and interpretation apparatus.

The register contains almost 700 terms that will help readers study according to their specific interest and allow them to create their own study procedures.

The concordance has around 1,700 words and is intended to help readers who want to find a text from which they remember either a key word or phrase. Terms and names are arranged in alphabetical order and their more significant occurrence in Bible verses is assigned to them. Maps, charts, diagrams, and supplemental articles summarize and explain important information and ideas from Scripture.
